Police Chief's Message for March 2010

The Dunstable Police Department reminds residents that they may sign up for a community notification service. This electronic community alert system is provided through a partnership with the Dunstable Police Department and Nixle Corporation. After signing up, residents can receive police information through their e-mail account or cell phone, free of charge (excluding standard messaging charges). Nixle states that they will not provide advertisements or spam.

2010 Dog Licenses Now Available

2010 dog licenses are now available (2009 licenses expire 12/31/09).  If you own a dog that is 6 months of age or older, it must be licensed in accordance with Massachusetts state law.  A current rabies vaccination must be on file with the Town Clerk before a license can be issued.  Late fees and fines are assessed after March 1 per order of the Town of Dunstable Dog Control Bylaw.  If you have any questions or want to determine if a current rabies certificate is on file, please contact the Town Clerk.
