Adult Book Club

Adult Book CLub will meet on Saturday, March 27th at 1:00.  We will be discussing Remembering Sarah by Chris Mooney.   Extra copies are available at the libary.  All are welcome.

Gardening Group

Gardening Group will meet on Thursday, March 25, at 6:30pm, for our second annual seed swap.  Bring any of your extra seed to swap among attendees.  Several local master gardeners will be present to answer questions about starting seedlings.  Meeting is open to everyone.

Easter Egg Decorating

Easter Egg Decorating for all ages.  Drop in on Thursday, March 25th from 3:30-5:00, or Saturday, April 3rd, from 11-noon and try your hand at decorating several eggs.  Sign-up PLEASE so we have enougth eggs.   Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.

Lyme Disease Program

Thursday, March 18th at 5:00pm, we will be showing the film Under Our Skin, a real-life thriller and shocking expose about how our medical system is failing to address one of the most serious epidemics of our time.  Following the movie, at 6:45, David Hunter, a lyme disease patient advocate will be on hand to answer questions.

Quilting Class

Quilting Class, under the direction of Robin Murch, meets alternate Tuesdays, at the library, form 6:00-8:00pm.  Come and learn how or work on an uncompleted project.  They will meet on March 2nd and 16th.

Rug Hooking Class

Rug Hooking Class, under the direction of Marge Kimpton, meets at the Swallow Union School on Monday nights from 7:00-9:00pm.  This class is open to all ages and all levels of experience.  Marge has kits for you to choose from and purchase to get you started.

Knitting and Crochet Class

Knitting and Crochet class, under the direction of Donna Acquaviva, meets at the Swallow Union School on Monday nights from 7:00-9:00pm.  THis clas is open to all ages and all levels of experience, including those who want to learn.

Annual Pie Bake-Off

Annual Pie Bake-Off.  Drop off your favorite homemade pie on Saturday, March 13th between 10 and 2 in the community room of the library.  All ages are welcome to enter.  There is even a category for store-bought crust.  PLEASE include your recipe.  Judging will take place in the afternoon.  The public is invited to come to the library at 6:30pm to do their own tasting.  A music program will be provided by Lauren Chaney Mann.

St. Patrick's Day KIds Craft Time

St. Patrick's Day Kids Craft Time.   Drop in on Thursday, March 11th, from 3:30-5:00, or Saturday, March 13 from 11:00 to noon to make several green crafts.

The Almond Buzz

Kim Dahlberg will be teaching this class on Saturday, March 6th at 10:30am, with a live demonstration, taste testing and take home recipes.  Come learn how to turn almonds, the vitamin and anitoxidant nut,  into a wonderful lactose free milk shake, lattes or even a vegan cream soup.  Please sign-up for this class.
