The annual town census forms are now being mailed to each household. Please make every attempt to return it by January 30, 2010. The annual town census is a legal document required under MA to maintain an active voter status.
2010 dog licenses are now available (2009 licenses expire 12/31/09). If you own a dog that is 6 months of age or older, it must be licensed in accordance with Massachusetts state law. A current rabies vaccination must be on file with the Town Clerk before a license can be issued. Late fees and fines are assessed after March 1 per order of the Town of Dunstable Dog Control Bylaw. Nonprofit organizations in existence for more than two years, that are either veterans' organizations chartered by Congress; church or religious organizations; fraternal or fraternal benefit societies; educational or charitable organizations; civic or service club organizations; or a club or organization operated exclusively for pleasure, recreation, and other nonprofit purposes, where no part of the net earnings inures to the benefit of any member or shareholder, may apply to the Town Clerk to conduct a raffle or a bazaar.
The Town Clerk’s office is an approved Passport Acceptance Facility.
All dogs at age 6 months or older must be licensed in accordance with state law. A current rabies vaccination must be on file or presented at the time of licensing. License fees are $6.00 for spayed/neutered dogs, and $10.00 without proof of spaying/neutering. If the rabies certificate on file with the Town Clerk is current, you may purchase your license by mail . A self-addressed, stamped envelope must be enclosed.
